What happens on a Care Collective tour?
On a Care Collective tour you walk the floors, see a suite and drop in on the day's activity, then talk through your parent's needs with a Care Advisor. There is no script and no pressure.

Which papers should you bring for your parent?
The papers we ask for depend on where your parent is coming from. Pick your parent's situation to see the papers, what happens before the move, and ways to start.
- Your parent lives at home
- Papers
- Ask your Care Advisor which papers to bring.
- Before the move
- A tour together, so your parent sees the suite first.
- Ways to start
- A short stay, or a free 3-day Clubhouse trial until 31 December 2026, before a longer stay.
- Your parent is leaving hospital
- Papers
- The hospital discharge summary
- Your parent's current medication list
- Before the move
- Our team visits your parent in hospital before they come.
- Ways to start
- A short stay to recover, which can become a long stay in the same suite.
- Your parent is living with dementia
- Papers
- The diagnosis letter
- A doctor's report
- The medication list
- Any hospital discharge summary
- Before the move
- The nurses assess your parent before admission and again when they move in. The care plan is built from both.
- Ways to start
- Dementia care within Assisted Living, or the Clubhouse by day for early and moderate memory loss.

What is included once your parent moves in?
In Assisted Living at Care Collective, nurses lead the care by day, a doctor visits every week, and the night team checks on your parent every two hours.

Common questions
Do we have to decide on the tour?
No. There is no script and no pressure, so take the numbers home and talk it over. Come back for a second look with your parent if that helps.
Can my parent move in after a hospital stay?
Yes. Before they come, our team visits your parent in hospital. Have the hospital discharge summary and the current medication list ready.
Can a short stay become a long stay?
Yes, in the same suite, so your parent does not have to move rooms. A short stay can be for recovery, or to give the family carer a break.
Who gets the RM2,000 off the first month?
A new Assisted Living stay of a month or longer, until 31 December 2026. Dementia care is included in the offer.
When can family visit?
Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. We encourage families to take part in their parent's care.
