Why families book

Three reasons for a short stay.

RecoverAfter surgery or a hospital stayGoing home straight from the ward is hard when stairs, bathing or medication still need a hand. Our Wellness Recovery Care stay gives your parent a suite and daily care from our team, with physiotherapy in the building.
RespiteA break for the family carerIf you look after your mother or father at home, a short stay lets our team care for them while you rest or travel. They have the same meals, clubs and team as our residents.
TryA stay before you decideIf you're not sure about moving, book a trial stay first. Your parent joins the activities and sees what a normal week looks like before committing to Retirement Suites or Assisted Living.

Questions families ask

How short can a stay be?

There is no minimum stay. Tell us the dates you have in mind and we'll check a suite.

Can my father come straight from hospital?

Yes. Send us his hospital discharge summary and current medication list, and our team will visit him in hospital before he comes.

Is physiotherapy included?

No, it is charged separately. Physiotherapy and rehabilitation are both in the building, so therapy sessions need no travel.

Can someone living with dementia have a short stay?

Yes, a short stay or a respite stay. Our nurses assess your parent before the stay and plan their care.

Can a short stay become a longer one?

Yes, without moving out. The stay carries on in the same suite. Tell our team before it ends.

Is Care Collective a nursing home?

No. Care Collective is a senior-living community with independent and assisted living, caregivers on hand and a nursing team on call.

Can we see it first?

Yes. Tours run every day from 10am to 4pm, weekends included.
